Secondary School Teacher Male – 98 posts
Case: F.4-112/2026-R.
The qualification route is:
- Second Class / Grade C Master’s degree with B.Ed. or equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognised university; or
- M.A. Education / M.A. EPM from an HEC-recognised university.
No separate mandatory teaching-experience requirement is stated for this case in the published criteria reviewed.

Computer Instructor Female – 14 posts
Case: F.4-114/2026-R. The academic requirement is the same Computer Science / Information Technology Master’s-level route stated for the Computer Instructor post.

Drawing Mistress – 6 posts
Drawing Mistress BS-16 has six vacancies. The published qualification allows the relevant Bachelor’s-level route with the required Fine Arts/Drawing qualification, including a Bachelor degree with the prescribed Fine Arts/Drawing diploma or a recognised Bachelor degree in Fine Arts.
Age: 20–28 years plus five years general relaxation.
Computer Instructor syllabus areas
The FPSC syllabus for Computer Instructor includes English, Master’s-level computer subjects and professional teaching knowledge. Technical areas include:
- Computer hardware and software.
- Data communication and networking.
- Programming languages.
- Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Database concepts including Oracle/PLSQL.
- System analysis and design.
- Web programming.
- Basics of artificial intelligence.
The professional portion covers teaching techniques, classroom management, testing/evaluation and Bloom’s Taxonomy.

FGEI vacancy distribution
The 145-post total is concentrated in four teaching categories. Secondary School Teacher Male alone accounts for 98 posts, while Computer Instructor has 41 posts split between male and female recruitment. This makes the batch particularly relevant to education and computer-science postgraduates.
SST qualification must include the teaching route
For SST Male, a general Master’s degree by itself is not enough under the first eligibility route. The candidate needs the prescribed Master’s degree together with B.Ed. or equivalent. The alternative route is M.A. Education / M.A. EPM as stated by FPSC.
Applicants should therefore check both the academic subject and the teacher-education component before paying the fee.
Computer Instructor qualification
Computer Instructor Male and Female require a Second Class / Grade C Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent from an HEC-recognised university. A short IT diploma or unrelated Master’s degree does not meet the stated requirement.
Computer Instructor test structure
The current FPSC syllabus tests three areas:
- English language usage.
- Master’s-level computer subject knowledge.
- Professional teaching knowledge.
Computer topics include hardware/software, networking, programming, operating systems, databases, system analysis, web programming and basic artificial intelligence. The professional portion includes teaching methodology, classroom management, assessment and Bloom’s Taxonomy.
Nationwide quota and posting
The SST and Computer Instructor cases carry federal quota allocations across multiple provinces and regions. Applicants must apply against the domicile shown on their CNIC/domicile record. Selected candidates can be posted at FGEI institutions anywhere in Pakistan, so the vacancy should not be treated as a city-specific teaching appointment.
Application scrutiny
FPSC can require original degrees, B.Ed/equivalent documents, domicile and other eligibility records at the scrutiny/interview stage. Candidates should make sure the degree title entered online is exactly supported by the university record and HEC recognition.
Separate cases
SST, Computer Instructor Male, Computer Instructor Female and Drawing Mistress are separate FPSC cases. A candidate eligible for more than one must follow the separate application and fee requirements applicable to each case.
Which candidate should apply for which post?
A candidate with a general Master’s plus B.Ed should check SST Male. A postgraduate in Computer Science or IT should check Computer Instructor. Candidates with the prescribed Fine Arts/Drawing background should use the Drawing Mistress case. These are separate cases and the qualifications are not interchangeable.
Teaching qualification scrutiny
For SST, the teacher-education component matters. Where the applicant uses the Master’s + B.Ed route, both credentials should be available and recognised. M.A. Education / M.A. EPM is the alternative qualification route stated by FPSC.
Computer Instructor professional preparation
The Computer Instructor syllabus combines subject knowledge with teaching practice. Candidates should prepare computer science at Master’s level and also revise classroom management, teaching methodology, testing/evaluation and Bloom’s Taxonomy. A purely technical IT preparation leaves the professional portion uncovered.
FGEI posting condition
These are federal FGEI posts with place of posting stated as anywhere in Pakistan. Applicants should apply with the understanding that selection is not tied to their domicile city. Domicile controls quota eligibility, not a guaranteed posting location.
Before submitting the FPSC form
- Use the correct case number and gender category.
- Confirm the degree is HEC recognised.
- For SST, verify B.Ed/equivalent or M.A. Education/EPM route.
- For Computer Instructor, confirm the Master’s discipline is Computer Science/IT or accepted equivalent.
- For Drawing Mistress, confirm the Fine Arts/Drawing qualification exactly.
- Check domicile against the quota in the case.
