  • Economics and Statistics.
  • Public Policy / Public Administration.
  • Business Administration.
  • Finance, Accounting and Audit.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation.

Experience requirements vary substantially, commonly from about three years for field/M&E-type positions to five or more years for senior coordination, research, management and technical roles.

District Social Protection Coordinator

There are eight posts, preferably for female candidates. The published requirements include relevant 16-year education in Social Sciences, Economics, Development Studies, Public/Business Administration or a related field and approximately five years of relevant post-qualification experience in field operations/development programmes.

M&E Officer Female – 18 posts

The role requires a relevant Bachelor’s degree in areas such as Statistics, Demography, Economics or a related discipline and relevant monitoring/evaluation experience. Current vacancy details indicate around three years of relevant experience for this category.

Field Officer posts

There are 25 Field Officer vacancies: 17 female and 8 male. These are district-level implementation posts. Applicants should check the exact academic and experience requirement against the selected gender/district vacancy in the NTS advertisement.

MIS/GRM and Admin/Finance posts

The district recruitment includes 13 District MIS/GRM Officers and 10 District Admin and Finance Officers. These roles require the relevant IT/MIS, administration, finance or related background stated in the advertisement.

Support staff requirements

  • Driver: Matriculation and valid driving licence requirements stated for the post; knowledge of vehicle maintenance is relevant.
  • Naib Qasid / Peon: Primary education; experience/literacy preference may apply.
  • Sweeper: experience/literacy preference as stated; minority-only allocation applies to specified sweeper posts.

District coverage

District vacancies are spread across Sindh, including Badin, Dadu, Ghotki, Jamshoro, Jacobabad, Kambar/Qambar, Kashmore, Khairpur, Larkana, Matiari, Mirpurkhas, Naushahro Feroze, Sanghar, Shaheed Benazirabad, Shikarpur, Sujawal, Sukkur, Tando Allahyar, Tando Muhammad Khan, Tharparkar, Thatta and Umerkot depending on the post.

Contract and domicile conditions

  • Recruitment is purely on contract basis for the project.
  • Preference is given to Sindh domicile holders according to the recruitment terms.
  • Positions are filled under the project’s applicable World Bank guidelines.
  • Applicants already in government service should apply through the proper channel.

How to apply through NTS

  1. Open the official NTS SSPA project page.
  2. Create an applicant account.
  3. Select the exact desired post.
  4. Complete the online application.
  5. Upload/provide all required documents and information.
  6. Submit a separate application for each post if applying to multiple positions.
  7. Complete the application by the NTS closing date.

Selection process

Only eligible candidates are contacted for the written test under the advertisement terms. Shortlisting, document verification and interview follow according to the position and project recruitment procedure. No TA/DA is admissible for the test or interview.

Head Office roles by function

The 22 Head Office vacancies are not one generic administration batch. They cover separate technical and programme functions:

  • IT infrastructure, data centre, software and system analysis.
  • Programme operations and payments.
  • Training and research.
  • Audit, accounts and finance.
  • Human resources and administration.
  • Project secretarial/support services.

Applicants should match the academic discipline and years of post-qualification experience to the exact post instead of applying broadly to every officer role.

District posts are operational roles

The 127 district vacancies support field delivery of the social-protection project. District Coordinator, Senior Field Operations, M&E, Field Officer, MIS/GRM and Admin/Finance positions involve different functions and qualification requirements.

For example, M&E work requires monitoring/evaluation knowledge and relevant education, while MIS/GRM requires stronger data, systems or information-management capability. District Admin and Finance requires the relevant finance/administration background.

Female-specific posts

The advertisement contains positions specifically identified for female candidates, including 18 Senior Officer – Field Operations, 18 M&E Officer and 17 Field Officer posts. Candidates should select the exact NTS post title because male and female Field Officer vacancies are listed separately.

Multiple applications

NTS requires a separate sign-up/application for each desired post. A candidate applying for more than one SSPA position should complete each application independently and follow the relevant document/payment instructions shown by NTS.

Documents and experience

Professional applicants should be ready to provide degrees, transcripts and experience certificates showing the required post-qualification period. Drivers should have the specified valid driving licence and vehicle-maintenance knowledge. Primary/Matric support-staff applicants should follow the education condition stated against their exact post.

World Bank project recruitment

These appointments are for the Strengthening Social Protection Delivery System in Sindh project and are made on contract under the project’s recruitment framework. The advertisement states that positions will be filled in accordance with the applicable World Bank guidelines.

Closing date

The NTS project page currently shows 10 September 2026 as the last date for application submission.
